The recent decision by the Supreme Court reversing the 1973 Roe v Wade ruling was welcome news. Over 63 millions babies have lost their lives since that ruling almost 50 years ago.
However, the decision of the Supreme Court did not outlaw abortion. The court simply gave each state back their constitutional right to regulate abortion within their borders. So there will be states where abortion is illegal, such as Missouri, and states where abortion it legal, such as Illinois.
The Bible teaches us that life begins at conception in many passages. So the unborn baby is a human being created in the image of God and must be protected.
Psalm 139:13 (ESV) For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
